PW Jailbreak Kindle Paperwhite 1 with 5.6.1.1

Hi,

i have a B024 Kindle PaperWhite WiFi PW with FW 5.6.1.1 and want to Jailbreak it.

I already sucessfully jailbreaked a KT2 Kindle Touch, but i cant find if its possible to jailbreak a PW1.

I tried the KindleBreak - Software Jailbreak for (almost) any Kindle <= 5.13.3 here, but since PW isnt on the list i did not have many hope. And it didnt work.

I read this thread Open Sesame! (AKA., The New & Improved JailBreak Index) wich linked to this "Here is an archived version of the last iteration of this document that was focused on the Factory JB, for devices where KindleBreak is currently unsupported (e.g., the PW1)."

But the PW1 is not in the list of supportet devices.

Is it possible to jailbreak a B024 Kindle PaperWhite WiFi PW with FW 5.6.1.1?

The PW1 is indeed in a bit of a weird spot, but it *is* doable, it's just mildly annoying.

You basically have to *force* a downgrade it to a version vulnerable to the *legacy* 5.4 JB (still listed in the Snapshots thread) via the "dirty unplug" method.

I *think* someone actually wrote it all down somewhat recently, but I may be misremembering that :s.

Thanks again everbody, i sucessfully jailbreaked the pw1, installed KUAL, MRI and a few packages.
Worked wihout problems.
Just downgraded to 5.3.3, Jailbreak K5 and done.
