Custom fonts causing erratic chapter jumps

Having custom fonts installed, the kindle will not save my last read place but will jump to the next chapter upon return to the book. Removing the custom fonts makes it work fine. Anybody else experience this?

The issue occurs with custom fonts on non-western books (say, Cyrillic).

The workaround: set boldness to 1. |

EDIT: your workaround seems to work. (So this issue isn't just non-western books) Last edited by raghiid; 10-20-2020 at 10:47 AM. Reason: update |

Using Sabon typeface, I'm on page 82 of Siddhartha, after changing to another book and returning back to Siddhartha it jumps to page 94. Now if I get rid of custom fonts, this behavior doesn't occur. |
