Custom fonts causing erratic chapter jumps

Having custom fonts installed, the kindle will not save my last read place but will jump to the next chapter upon return to the book. Removing the custom fonts makes it work fine. Anybody else experience this?

Not at all using 5.13.2 What firmware are you using?

PW3 on v5.13.3. I'm positive about this because I tested it several times and with difference font files. It's happening with purchased and sideloaded books.

Me either, not on any of my 3 Kindles (two Oases and a Voyage, all 5.13.1 or 5.13.2). All my books are sideloaded azw3.

The issue occurs with custom fonts on non-western books (say, Cyrillic).
The workaround: set boldness to 1.

Nope. All my books are in English.

EDIT: your workaround seems to work. (So this issue isn't just non-western books)

Using Sabon typeface, I'm on page 82 of Siddhartha, after changing to another book and returning back to Siddhartha it jumps to page 94.

Now if I get rid of custom fonts, this behavior doesn't occur.
