DB integrity check

Hi, I just got hit with a nasty Ransomware virus yesterday, now that its gone and so are a large number of random files off my computer I need to know if I lost any of the books in my Calibre collection. is there a way to do an integrity check on the DB to make sure the books and files match with the data base?

Thank you.

If you lost the database file, you won't know which books are also lost.

Thank goodness it didn't hit the db, just about 7tb of data loss, and it looks like it didn't hit my Calibre directory or the database so this is a good thing

I remember my first HD. a 40Meg (huge. 10M was common). (and 1M RAM)

I was building up server racks a few years ago with 22 Petabytes of HD

My current main system has 3T, My NAS only has 2T but it is a RAID 10

I think mine was a 10MB but I used an Adaptec RLL controller to get 20MB

My first HD was a 10MB running with a SASI controller as storage for a CP/M computer. I waited for the 10MB as an upgrade from the 5MB ones that were the first ones available to me and for the prices to drop. By today's standards, paying $2000 for 10MB HD is just a touch expensive.

The most recent storage system I helped install was a mere 4 petabyte (the 32TB flash cache isn't counted).

The hard drive on my first computer was a whopping 6 gigabytes. Now I routinely deal with video files larger than that.

My fist hard drive was a Seagate ST-225 20MB 5.25"hard drive. I got it from a friend in a trade for a high density 3.5" floppy drive (even though the 3.5" disks were not floppy).
