[Error] Check the integrity of the database

Ubuntu 9.04 32 bits
Calibre 0.6.10

When I press in "Check the integrity of the database" button, Calibre fails:

OperationalError: no such table: sqlite_sequence

"/home/kovid/"? From where the program gets this directory?
That directory doesn't exist in my system.
