Good Reads lists an ebook edition for it, so apparently one did exist at some point.

Whether it was an official ebook edition is another matter... Or, for that matter, just plain bad data entry.

Looking on Amazon.co.uk, there's an audio book version. The print editions all seem to be used, so I guess it's out of print. Out of the series, it seems that 1, 2, and 5 are the only ones in print (and available in Kindle).

And in Canada, it's available for free on Kobo Plus.

Kobo CA: The Five Senses Set: Mirror of Destiny, The Scent of Magic, and Wind in the Stone

[sarcasm mode on]Though perhaps we shouldn't be reading Andre Norton's books. One review I ran into complained that in her Beast Master series, the main character was of Navajo/Diné ancestry which evidently is a Bad Thing when done by someone who is not themselves of Diné ancestry.[sarcasm mode off]

She also wrote The Sioux Spaceman in 1960. I guess I shouldn't have enjoyed it either.

The most recent of Anne Rice’s vampire novels, Blood Communion (Vampire Chronicles #13), is on sale for $1.99 at Amazon US – and probably other retailers.

Books 2 and 3 of the Daedalus series by Michael J. Martinez are FREE on Amazon.com
These are:
The Enceladus Crisis - Link
The Venusian Gambit - Link

Here's a description of the first book, The Daedalus Incident:
Quote:
Mars is supposed to be dead…
a fact Lt. Shaila Jain of the Joint Space Command is beginning to doubt in a bad way.

Freak quakes are rumbling over the long-dormant tectonic plates of the planet, disrupting its trillion-dollar mining operations and driving scientists past the edges of theory and reason. However, when rocks shake off their ancient dust and begin to roll—seemingly of their own volition—carving canals as they converge to form a towering structure amid the ruddy terrain, Lt. Jain and her JSC team realize that their realize that their routine geological survey of a Martian cave system is anything but. The only clues they have stem from the emissions of a mysterious blue radiation, and a 300-year-old journal that is writing itself.

Lt. Thomas Weatherby of His Majesty’s Royal Navy is an honest 18th-century man of modest beginnings, doing his part for King and Country aboard the HMS Daedalus, a frigate sailing the high seas between continents…and the immense Void between the Known Worlds. Across the Solar System and among its colonies—rife with plunder and alien slave trade—through dire battles fraught with strange alchemy, nothing much can shake his resolve. But events are transpiring to change all that.

With the aid of his fierce captain, a drug-addled alchemist, and a servant girl with a remarkable past, Weatherby must track a great and powerful mystic, who has embarked upon a sinister quest to upset the balance of the planets—the consequences of which may reach far beyond the Solar System, threatening the very fabric of space itself.

Set sail among the stars with this uncanny tale, where adventure awaits, and dimensions collide!
Also FREE are the first two books in Martinez' superspy espionage series MJ-12:
MJ-12: Inception - Link
MJ-12: Shadows - Link

Tempting. I haven't enjoyed her recent books as much as the old stuff but this sounds potential.

A few had been listed cheaper but were raised since my last post to $6.99. Very weird but still less than the regular price.

Most Discworld eBooks in the UK are VAT free at £3.33 or £4.16 at eBooks.com in ePub. Easy to remove the DRM and convert to read on a Kindle.

Pardon my nerdiness. But To Serve Man was adapted by The Twilight Zone. Not The Outer Limits. To Serve Man (The Twilight Zone)

And now I'm thinking of Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks arguing about whether "Time Enough At Last" was an Outer Limits or a Twilight Zone.

I've been waiting a while for this price drop, so just in case anyone else is in the same boat...

Amazon US has Casey Daniels's tenth (and apparently final) "Pepper Martin" mystery, Graveyard Shift, on sale for $1.99.

Yes, the spine says "mystery," but considering it's about a woman who gets contacted by ghosts to (usually) solve their own murders, I consider the series urban fantasy. Also worth noting, only some of the books - the first three and this one - are available electronically.
