Couple issues with my Libra

My Libra seems to turn on and off when I apply pressure next to the power button without actually pressing it. The screen also seems to be a bit slanted/crooked. I'm considering returning it and getting another one. Can anyone with a Libra please test the following out and let me know if you also have these issues with your Libra?

- Apply pressure all around the power button without actually pressing the button to see if the device goes to sleep or not

- Open the Settings and check to see if the physical borders are parallel to the black borders on the e-ink display

Thanks in advanced!

Thanks for your quick response.

Can anyone else provide their input. I want to see if this is a common occurrence or if it's rare

It sounds like a defect. Get it exchanged.
The power button is a momentary action click type switch on a small separate PCB. It can only do what you suggest if the small board is incorrectly mounted.

The back clicks in and everything apart from the power switch is on an alloy chassis, looks cast, which is probably screwed to the front / main part of the plastic case. Perhaps it was dropped from a huge height in transit and twisted the plastic mounts?

I can't see how the screen can easily be not parallel. Mine is fine.

Same here. Haven't noticed because I either hold onto the other side, where one is supposed to grip it or have it in a cover anyway. So this is absolutely no problem for me.

If it drives you nuts get an exchange.

I did.

But I've been opening things since I was a child and discovered what a table knife could achieve. I have lots of tools now. None needed to pop back off a Libra. Be gentle.

I did as well and I was suspecting the power button issue was caused by me opening the back, but it appears not. Thank you for your input.

Of course not, I am a grown up

No, I haven't. And like I said, I wouldn't have noticed by myself.
