Not quite sure why I hadn't thought of this before, and I don't recall seeing it mentioned in the forums anywhere, but I was happy to discover that pointing to a source file outside the patch folder works just fine. I've now got this
Code:
files:
  ../../dictionaries/hyph_en.dic: usr/local/Kobo/hyphenDicts/hyph_en.dic
in my kobopatch.yaml file and I don't have to copy the hyphen dictionary into a new release of the Kobo patches.

I'm still none the wiser about what patch Increase headlines font does. Is someone going to give me a clue?

The regular dictionaries don't need patches to be installed AFAIK, so it didn't even occur to me

Thanks for the image. I've updated the link in the patch's description to point to your post #183 which should be more helpful than the previous link was.

Rather than hosting the image at Imgur, I do think it would be preferable, for the long-term, if you attached this image to your post (using the Manage Attachments paperclip) so that it's visible as a thumbnail.

ETA: If you do this, you'll probably need to reduce the image size to comply with MR guidelines about images.

Yes would love that too. I find the Forma to be very trigger happy to flip the screen at the slightest orientation change.

The "hidden" Developer settings menu has advanced tilt settings for the Forma/Libra gyro.

I've never felt the need to tweak it myself, but it might be worth looking into.

Yes have tried that and doesn't work very well unfortunately.

Like @poczynek, I've played with this, but I also can't get it to do what I want. A 'handedness lock' patch would be great, if at all possible.

I can see where you're coming from on ePub vs. KePub. But go for ePub is you are reading regular fiction or books without footnotes or crappy graphics.
How do you cope with terrbily slow highlighting in regular EPUBs?

I bought my Kobo just recently, and I had to switch to KEPUBs already on my second day of use because the procedure was extremely slow and I could never manage to make the highlight end where my finger was pointing at. KEPUBs are flawless in this as well.

I don't highlight except for errors to fix later. So I'm OK with ePub highlighting. But ut has gotten better. I cannot say f it's good enough for you or not.

I've just patched my Clara again after a long time, so I'm not quite up to date with all the new patches. Is there a patch to customize the "Back to home" that shows up at the top? I'd like to unbold it.

There is no such patch. But maybe someone will create one for you.

That should be able to be done with a CSS patch. If nobody else wants to do it, I'll probably get around to it by next weekend.

P.S. This type of post belongs in the request thread.
