New "Mars" device from Likebook?

Seller was quickly response and he offered all this:
1. full refund.
2. paying postage for send it back.
3. Additionally he offered a (small) discount for the new one.
4. And because delivery was over 15 days (10 days was the quarantined from Spain warehouse) he also offered an another small refund for this.

So i think it is nice seller attitude.
I recommend the Official Likebook Reader Store on Aliexpress.

What was the name of the seller? When I bought my nova, it was delayed by a month and had to pay $60 inshipping when it stopped working.

I bought my via Aliexpress. Then came from Spain with GLS.
Unfortunately, the USB socket was defective for me. It came only with every 5 attempts a connection to the PC.
After I returned it by letter from Germany and I mailed the tracking ID. From Spain came a new Lifebook Mars. And that before the broken device arrived in China.
Great service and no customs.

I'm enjoying my likebook Mars. Can not for the life of me get the new 2018121414 firmware to download. Just keeps saying Download Failed.

Also really wish that the devs would fix the black homescreen and Google calendar not working issues. Other than that looking forward to making this part of my regular kit!

You can change your homepage to Books or Apps. Also, these will also go away if you install and use a different launcher. I'm currently using Nova Launcher Pro with it right now.

I have just received my Mars. I've noticed that the 3 vertical dots menu in the Apps page and the Browser is hard to press. I have to tap it several times to register and half the time it does register it thinks I pressed it twice and immediately closes the menu. Everything else touch screen related works fine. Is my Mars faulty?

Sorry, I don't quite understand what this means. I zipped a PNG with a black/white gradient and opened it in Moon+Reader and it does show 16 unique bands, including black and white.

Sorry, I tested with included Rockchip device Test, which shows 14 bands, but it is for Android 4.x.
In your Test, black is too big - all bands should have the same size
And a 16 greyscale picture shows 3 black and 13 other different greys = 14 different greys

Perhaps you need to adjust the contrast. This can easily cause the problem you are seeing.
