Go Back and Forward like in Browser

Is it possible to do it?
I often need this feature in Calibre.

In what context do you want to go back and forth?

The search bar has recent history, tap down and up arrow keys in the search box to cycle through the history entries. IIRC the JobSpy plugin Configuration has an option to increase the number of Search History items available to 100.
