AZW or MOBI not showing on kindle?
Why do some books not show? they are not on the carosel nor in the documents folder?
Is there a way to upload the books on to my kindle ( it is the 10" Fire ) so they show in the "books" section? sometimes they are not in the documents folder either though they show on calibre as being on device and I cannot find them on the kindle at all.

All devices most definitely do index, entries dont show up in the list by magic. Something on the device has to scan the files ont he device, extract their metadata and add it to an internal database for display. That process is known as indexing.

Unfortunately indexing is a widely used term with a specialised Kindle meaning
