removing saved icons

Anyone know how I could remove some of the saved icons in the icon rules area? Until I actually see them in Calibre I don't know if I want them, but by then they are stuck in the list.

I hunted around for the images file but I can't find the one associated with this aspect of Calibre (icon rules).

I checked the app data roming for images, the book cover images and a couple of other ones are there, but that's only a couple. I need to remove dozens.

Or maybe I'm not understanding what you want to do.

Uhh....yeah...this button isn't showing on my version..I was about to have a face-palm moment when I saw your pic, but its missing on mine.

Your screenshot looks much different than mine (excluding the rules)

You are not Editiong a rule. Double click the rule you want to remove the icon from. Then the screens should be similar

@theducks - I think he already found them, see last line of opening post

The remove icon is one at a time, the OP has "I need to remove dozens."

Sorry, I cropped too much out of my screenshot... As stated in the comments above the button is only in the edit a rule window, so create a new rule or edit an existing one to get it.
Be aware that if you delete an icon it is deleted for every rule (so a rule that use it will stop working)

@all,

@BetterRed, you were right, I had to remove dozens. No one seems to understand the need for so many icons however, they have saved me tons of time when it comes to going through my library. Unfortunately, this means having to import between 2 to 10 different icons for the same thing since I can't anticipate how they look once they're in. Then there are the ones that just never get used.

The cc_icons folder was much easier to clean than going through editing the rules.

@Nicolas, no worries, once I saw @theducks response I understood what you were showing me.
