It is appreciated. Here is what I know about their house. Last week, they had to call in the professionals because they were stepping on fleas. They could see the fleas. Please note that they have 14 or 15 cats. They do live in a humid area so mold is possible. They have crappy water due to the city they live in. When we go visit, if the smell doesn't run us out, we will inspect the house. You are very appreciated. |

He passed. He's no longer suffering. The cancer can no longer hurt him.

Going through my film collection; I'm in the mood for a not so very good horror film tonight.
Earlier this week I saw that Stephen King's The Mist has been made into a tv series, which starts the 22nd. I'm very curious to see it. It will mean I'll have to reread the book. It was one of my first books in English, outside of school, and one of my first Stephen Kings I read, probably in 1993 (the very first one was Silver Bullet). |

Today is the last day the Aboriginal Art Museum next door is open. Earlier this week one of the volunteers told me that most of the artworks, except those on display at the moment, had already been picked up.
She didn't know who will take over the building. Almost everybody on the block is slightly nervous about the next occupants; because most of the bedrooms on the block are at the back of the buildings (too noisy in the city center to sleep at the front). It's a big building, but very compartmentalized. Before the museum there was a sort of bank in the building and before that the local newspaper had its offices there. Best would be if another museum or art gallery would move in. Worst would be if a restaurant or café would move in. Eventhough the council is very strict about cafés and restaurants using their garden to put tables and chairs there when the weather's nice. A neighbour is afraid it will be converted in a hotel, that wouldn't be too bad IMHO. Yes, they would most likely have a café and/or restaurant on the ground floor, but they wouldn't want to disturb their own guests at night with noise. We'll see. The only thing I hope is that when they've removed all the artwork they remember to switch off the airconditioning. I wouldn't want one starting to rattle (which happens usually during summer) when nobody can be contacted to get it fixed. |

I had 25 books on my Kindle, but I got nervous: from tomorrow until Monday I won't have access to my Calibre collection, so I added 5 more books to my Kindle.
Meanwhile, my mother also got nervous (I always put new books on her Kindle) and she purchased a bunch of books, which I had to add to her Calibre and Kindle. |

I'm all packed and ready to go. Tomorrow my sister and I are going to the Russell Howard show we purchased tickets for a year and a half ago, thinking it would be in June 2016. We have decided to make a weekend out of it. Today I'm working two hours and then I'll meet my sister at the train station. We'll drop our bags off at the hotel and head into the city center. Today we're shopping, since temperatures are okay and for tonight I've booked a table at our favourite tapas restaurant.
Tomorrow it will be very warm, after breakfast we're going to visit the Hermitage and after that we might go to the cinema if we can't find anything else to do in a cool surrounding. The check-out time at our hotel is at noon, which is great. There will be a train strike in some cities (but the effect will be felt all over the country) on Monday. However, our father has to go to the garage to get something replaced and it's not much out of his way to pick us up at the hotel. |

Trying not to throw something at my husband. It's not my fault I squint alot. My glasses are ten years old and my vision has changed since then. Hubby keeps mocking me because I can't see clearly. He's annoying.

He threw a rubber ball at me. I tossed it back over my shoulder without looking. It hit him on his forehead and made a very satisfying loud smack.
