As of today we have a new rule for the consulting hour: we only "treat" an item when it's clean. Today there was a customer with a light fixture for over the kitchen counter and it hadn't been cleaned in years, if ever. It was sticky and dusty and just yuk. Not something you want to touch with bare hands.

We've seen some pretty disgusting things.

I think the worst was the panini grill which we though was screwed to a two inch wooden board, but in reality was stuck to it by all the grease and I don't want to know what. I am thinking about looking up sepsis and seeing if you can get it from cats.
My stepdad is in the ICU with walking pneumonia and sepsis.
As you know mom had sepsis in March.

Sepsis usually comes from a wound that is not properly cleaned. Like I read in the news a guy dying of Sepsis after swimming in the gulf of Mexico after getting a tattoo and not waiting for it to heal.

Any infection can turn into it though if not properly treated.

Cats are safe unless you get hurt by one and don't treat the wound correctly. I'd look into water, filters and any mold that might be in their house. Throw out any old razors, old toothbrushes...anything that looks like it might be past it's prime that they come into skin contact or ingest. Check vents if they have Central air.

It could just be a bad bacteria infection that went Into sepsis. Make sure they both get a Pneumonia shot.
