What's good for the average iOS user if Goodreader were the only app for PDF? Thank God for the variety of choices available for reading PDF.

Maybe as an option like Show Translate, Show Copy and Show My Command
That is it would be very nice with an option Show Share

The share command will make it simple to transfer the selected text to notes, mail etc.

You'll get it in the upcoming version 1.7 of MapleRead.

My translation subscription can now be reached via share, meaning I will get a little window directly in MapleRead. Very much like Mapleread's translate command.

Despite all our efforts we still can't reproduce the bug. However, in the upcoming version 1.7 of MapleRead, we have made some changes that should help fixing the problem. Please let us know if v1.7 really helps when it becomes available on the App Store soon.

I really like your new whole-book page numbering implementation. This implements the real and intuitive page counting scheme as that of a paper book and also of iBooks. And it feels much faster than iBooks and other similar apps, as you don't have to wait for time-consuming page re-numbering to finish before you can read again, whenever you change some layout parameters, including font size and page orientation. Bravo!

After turning on the whole-book page numbering option for a week by now, I've discovered that it is a really smart implementation. While page re-numbering is relatively fast for a new layout setting, it is instantaneous for previously used layout settings!
A simple idea, and yet there is really no other app that works like that. Very impressive indeed!!!

I would like to try the new page numbering, but i am thrown back to the main reason I keep reverting to Marvin as my reader -- I cannot find the system control panel, where i assume one turns on this feature.

I can see pictures of it on the maplepop site and references to it in this forum, but no indication of how to access it. I think i have pressed every bit of every screen without success. It must be something simple since no one else seems to have ever asked but beyond me. I would have expected an option from the gear wheel.

If you are on an iPad, go into system settings where all the Apple settings are (the app looks like a cog).

look on left side for mapleread and then look at the settings opposite on the right

Still not all the time, but at least once or twice with every book. Sometimes even more often. I've had to get into the habit of bookmarking every time I switch apps, just in case. I wish I could pinpoint the cause so i could pass the info along!

Now that MapleRead 1.7 has been out for 3 weeks, we haven't seen any bug report of this sort ("loss of reading positions").
@Pendragn - does v1.7 fix the problem for you?
