The Volt I got on Black Friday is still working fine (gave it to my daugher, 10, and she uses it a lot). The other Volt I got from ebay (used) has failed. The touch screen, rebooting and freezing on the yellow symbol, the battery...I just gave up on it and put it away. (It had been my daughter's). I was tempted by this year's $10 Alcatel....but no. It's worth paying more and getting 16 gb and marshmallow.

I've purchased three Auras there for friends of mine with dying ereader, who didn't want to spend a lot of money but they wanted reader with light (and they are not tech geeks, so they don't want the last model).

That's just odd. .6g more is not noticeable and the size difference is not that much. But what really surprises me is that your friends didn't notice how much better the screen on the Glo HD is.

Since my Fire tablet became Alexa-enabled a week or so ago I've played with it a little bit, and telling it to play music has been fun; if I uploaded my non-Amazon music to the cloud, it would be even more fun. Kindle Voyage ($200/$150) --> $170 (AMZ)
So if I am deciphering this correctly, this means the Voyage will go on for $150? If so, do we know when/where?
If it is, I think I'm just going to have to get one.....

No, $150 is the lowest price it's been. If you look at the header for each category, I have the prices color coded by type:

eReaders 2016 --> retail/lowest --> Black Friday

Kindle Voyage ($200/$150) --> $170 (AMZ)

$200 is the current retail price. $150 is the lowest price it's ever been. $170 is the BF price. (AMZ) is the store selling it.

I track the lowest prices so people can judge how good a current sale is.

I have this one. There's also a Bluetooth version for a few bucks more.

What I like is that it can play from a variety of different sources.

This one (refurbished, from a $44 original item) is $13.99 for another 25 minutes. Normally 19.99. I know nothing about them; don't use speakers.

So apparently I am just in stupid mode today! I just cleaned the boiled over milk from my microwave not once, not twice but three times because I apparently can't microwave correctly today. And definitely can't read either!! I have the deep blue crud virus that is going around and had no sleep last night at all. I'll use that as an excuse, not sure it's a good one, but it's the only one I've got.
