Mobi format on most recent KV FW
Does the mobi format still work on the Kindle Voyage with the most recent fw? I've tried to upload a couple of mobi files and they're not appearing on the home-screen.

Try doing mobi>mobi (re)conversion with Calibre, and then add only 1 book to you KV. Kindle probably got stuck on a book it "doesn't like" for some reason, and reconverting it/generating new mobi file should fix the "problem" in most cases.

Also, if you copied the files directly to the kindle's documents directory make sure the the choice on the upper left of the kindle's library display is set to "downloaded", not "all".
The labels are misleading. All actually means the items in your cloud account and downloaded actually means everything on the device, including what you copied there. |
