I got David L too and he keeps repeating the same answer! I think they are bots. I called and asked to talk to a CS rep about shipping. I was told I can't talk to anyone in that department. Decided to check my delivery status on a whim. Scheduled delivery changed to today instead of tomorrow. Of course I'm not home and it's on the truck already. Rerouted package to local FedEx Office. Hopefully, it will go there today instead of back to the depot.

I've had three different chats and they were answered almost instantly. First was a question about the cover. (No information, make by a another company.) Second about when orders would start shipping. (No information.) Third to check on my order--this was on Sept. 2. (Had to send to shipping dept and would have an answer in 24-48 hours. No answer yet. Nothing on Fedex.) It's probably not their fault they give them no information to work with.

Same here. Word for word identical. Makes be believe that it is nothing more than an automated canned reply in the hopes that the majority of inquiries will be dropped at that point.

That did reopen the ticket from me. I received an unhelpful 7-10 days response with it yesterday. But today they replied again with shipping confirmation and a FedEx tracking number.

Don't understand why most people do not receive the automated shipment notification in this process. One has to be proactive in playing games with customers service / responding to closed tickets in order to finally get tracking information.

I checked the Fedex tracking this morning, and it showed "On vehicle for delivery" already. It's only Thursday, not Friday!

And, Fedex just dropped it off! Thanks, Fedex.

So, I swing by home for lunch today to find a FedEx door tag on my door.
Crap-freakin'-tastic Kobo!

Had I known it was even coming I could have arranged to work from home today. Now I will have to drive across town 40 mins to the facility tonight after 6 PM to retrieve my package.

Oh, and still nothing from Kobo.

I had ordered something from a small company, something worth $15, and actually received a notice (via email) when my package shipped and when it was out for delivery.

I have not received a shipping notice yet, but just received it. It is downloading the update. I am used to 6" readers and it looks huge.
