Mine arrived this morning as well. I wanted to try an ereader again after using an iPad Mini for the last few years. I must say that so far I'm a bit underwhelmed, but still need to play a bit more. I think I've been spoiled by the speed and configurability of Marvin as an ebook reader on the iPad. My books look very poorly formatted on the Kobo versus the iPad.

Edit: Figured out the formatting, at least partially. Kepub look much better compared to a regular epub. Top and bottom margins don't look good with a regular epub, but are fine with a kepub. Do others see this as well?

Kobo launches have rarely been straightforward in the uk unfortunately. They obviously communicated the street date to Smiths or they wouldn't have allowed orders. I always get frustrated when trying to order on release day. Often Argos don't start stocking them until a few weeks after the launch date.

I'm in the US and ordered directly from Kobo on the 30th at 2 AM. Apparently, my order is being held up because somebody thought my address is a P.O. box. It is not, not even close. When I answered the CS email telling them this, I get an apparently computer generated email repeating that my order is now "in process" and allow 7-10 days for delivery.

Thanks for the info,sounds like it pays to wait in this instance.

kikatek strangely enough were selling them a few days ago before they removed the device from their site with a stock number of 200+,i too have been checking almost daily for the last week or so.

A little miffed i couldn't order one today,oh well i'm sure the wait will be worth it.
