Yes. I'm well aware of how Baen, and many other non-DRM smaller pubs, offer multiple formats (although many are dropping to just a few like ePub, Mobi & maybe PDF). I was just asking how it supported multiple vendors in a similar sense to Pottermore where the books actually get added to your library at the chosen vendor (it doesn't).

You can email your books directly to your Amazon cloud from Baen...does that count?

Still not the point I was going for.

When I mentioned something like UltraViolet or Disney Movies Anywhere earlier the idea is that you could buy the book at any of a number of retailers and the book would be populated to your library at various retailers allowing your library to move with you if you decide on a different device.

Example. I buy Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Amazon. Even though I bought through Amazon the movie is also available on my iTunes, Google, Microsoft and Vudu accounts without me having to do anything (other than the initial linking of accounts) or pay anything additional.

I'm aware, but that has nothing to do with what spurred the discussion. Now if I could buy the book at Amazon and it would also show up in my Baen and Kobo accounts as well then we'd be getting at what I mentioned in the first place.

That's your not humble opinion. I've used Mini, Aura and Aura HD. For me, Mini is the ideal size.

I don't read in the dark so a light isn't worth the price increase to me.
I'd rather have an extended battery life and/or more memory for the money.
If neither of those I'd just take the price savings.

A frontlight dramatically improves screen contrast in pretty much any lighting conditions short of direct sunlight. It's not only for reading in the dark.
