open books failure to add new book
I am encountering a problem with "open books" and encrypted epubs on my linux mint system. I originally thought this a problem with the DeDRM plugin, but that has been proven to be functioning properly. When I attempt to add such a book I get:

calibre, version 2.63.0
ERROR: Cannot add books: Failed to add some books, click "Show details" for more information.

A debug mode log shows the following startup information:

The debug log does NOT show the earlier posted pop-up error, only the successful use of the DeDRM plugin for the book.

How do I determine the cause of this problem and correct it?

PS: tried in debug mode and all that was added to the startup was:

IneptEpub: Using libcrypto.
IneptEpub: Calibre configuration directory = /home/dhdurgee/.config/calibre
IneptEpub: Keyfile RTC.der found in config folder.

I am seeing it with two encrypted epubs at this point. I was able to work around it by using an older calibre in a windows virtual machine and then converting the books to azw3 there. The azw3 files work fine with calibre in linux.

Other books have not exhibited this problem, but then again I do not often encounter encrypted epubs.

Is there more I can provide you to diagnose and correct this problem?

I have attached both failing epubs.

PS: old plugin, Inept Epub DeDRM, caused most of problem, now working at command line.
