All vs Downloaded in my Kindle library?

I have a Kindle Paperwhite 2015 (3rd edition, 7th generation).

When I click Library there are two options in the top: All and Downloaded.

The option All displays only my books that I have at Amazon. When I click Downloaded I see both my books from Amazon AND the books i have transferred via USB with Calibre.

Don't books show under All that you have manually transferred to your Kindle?

Not a big issue, but it would be nice to see all books under All.

Nope, All is books from Amazon only. Yes, it is backwards.

All is 'books from Amazon and books you emailed to your Kindle with Personal Document archiving turned on, even if you later removed them from the Kindle'.

In practice, Downloaded is 'stuff you don't need a network connection for'; All is 'stuff you do'.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

Not many features on the Kindle (I'm new to the device), but it has a very good screen. I guess that is the most important part!
