I've found Best Buy's specs listings to be pretty unreliable and inconsistent. Their listing for the Paperwhite also says it only holds 1,000 books with 4GB of storage. The Voyage has nothing at all on the specs page.

I realize that was a throwaway statement, but no. I didn't like it before I knew the price. The price just confirmed that I really wasn't even curious about it. The design is completely inconvenient for me.

I have a PW2, and I would get a PW3 or the Voyage before this. Not just because of price. (ETA: But now I probably won't bother with getting a new Kindle anytime soon.)

I can definitely recommend the Kobo Aura H2O. To me, it's the much better device and every bit worth the $180. I wish Amazon had put out something comparable. I'll be interested to see what Kobo offers next.

No worries. I would still be mildly curious to see one if it weren't for that price. I just don't see how it's "top of the line" over the Voyage. And I already thought the price of the Voyage was a little too much.

It would be great, but I still suspect that the "podcaster" either got misremembered or made an assumption. The users manual does not mention anything about a USB port on the cover. It only talks about charging the cover through the reader's USB port.
