I don't have a horse in this race as I have yet to go over to teh evil, but screensize is my most important factor, which is why I replaced my workhorse 950 with an H2O. The waterproofing and SD-card slot are immaterial to me. I would be curious if there were a 6.8" (or bigger) screen with 300 ppi or better, but I'm not even sure I can see the difference between the H2O's 265 dpi and the current Voyage's resolution.

I went with:
Physical page turn buttons More than 300ppi resolution Waterproof Solar-power option Non-shatter (plastic/metal) screen substrate Speakers and/or Microphone Text-to-Speech All I personally need though is waterproof because I spend a lot of time out in the weather. Waterproof and flexible substrate would be great. |

Lots of us seem to think that waterproofing is a feature Amazon won't leave out this time.

I voted for physical buttons and TTS, although I'm not getting my hopes up... They want to sell audio-addons/-books

A larger screen and more memory would be my priorities. And colour e-ink but I don't expect that for a moment.

More font choice and margin control would be nice as well. Basically most of the things for which I just bought a Kobo Aura h2o.

Yes! I could do without buttons if I could set it up something like this:
![]() But if not then it bothers my thumb joint to reach to tap/swipe to change pages, so buttons would be needed. Also, I seem to remember that on the Jetbook Lite you could choose from bunches of font sizes and they were listed as 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 etc. They just seemed much more customize-able than the Kindle is. And didn't they have more font choices? It's been a while since I played around with it. But I've got bad eyes, I need a bolder larger font, but often when I'm trying to choose a font I can only choose a too small or too large one. More choices would be great. S |

I am only really interested in waterproof protection. Colour? For what? For reading comic 6"/6.8" is small and I don't want a bigger screen for the Kindle. I use a 10" tablet for that. Speakers? No no no for me.
I consider Paperwhite and Voyage very good products, nearly perfect. I still have a KPW1. |
