Amazon Vudu & Netflix all have my sons Credit card! No they say it for renting/buying movies thru the Roku. Don't like it. More its out there on the internet more chance it get Hacked Again Its also for the Paid Apps.

The only people I know that got that warning or closed accounts were totally abusing the system. And note one of them just got a warning two years in a row. For having more than 20 returns.

I have had problems this year too with a couple of sellers.
No worries here.

Cause there are a LOT of things I cant buy at Local Stores. What I can buy Local I do No Matter the price differences.
Sounds like you think these people are Lying? Well you Really need to Read the Post on the Amazon Site. Several have been closed lately. Paul had been trying for almost 6 months to get answers. & not a Germany put it into Law Amazon cant close accounts for no reason... reported been trying to get answers also. Scaremongers, I Don't think so.
BTW I got my Prime yesterday. I didn't have to contact Amazon Twice.
IF they are Not Real WHY would the Courts of a Country Believe & Take Steps to Stop Amazon?

Now since Amazon has over 1 million customers what are you considering several?
10, 100, 1,000?
Now how do you know they weren't abusing the system and are now just trying to make Amazon look bad?
There are always a few complainers. Even at a 1000 that is way less than 1%.
Rather like that guy that didn't pay his pawn loan but claimed after Katrina the pawn shop stole his stuff because the pawn shop wasn't reachable. Note: The pawn shop set up a special number for that or he could have called corporate easily. That shop only has 750 locations.

Now as to that credit card, take it off your Amazon account and ignore the credit card. Pretend you are at your limit unless it is something you really need like a plumber.

Oh and I avoid the Amazon forums. It seems like most that post on there want something for nothing.

Though do quit worrying. We had two orders flat out not show up. Amazon refunded with no problems.
Now I did have to pay the return shipping on an order I screwed up on but that is only fair.

There is a difference.
And yes, the complainers are using scare tactics. Not accusing anyone of lying but when I hear Big Company did X (like refusing to give cash back for a return but offers a gift card instead), I want more information on the why. It could be the person bought and returned 4 vacuum cleaners in a month.

Amazon Not the one that Hack the Cr Card & I was Not talking about Amazon.. I was Expressing Consern about my son Credit Card on the RODU site.
90% of the time I Buy & use Gift Cards on AMAZON.. I used a Gift Card for my 1st phone. Amazon Does Not require a Credit Card. I don't understand Why I needed one to hookup the RODU.

Only time I got Gift cards from B&M stores is when I did return No Receipt. I Pay Cash I get Cash Back otherwise. I am and always will be a Cash person. Tho the Gov & places that Insist on Credit Cards are doing their to try & change me!

I have read that thread.
On the credit card, I was referring to a comment you made about it not being good for you.
By the way, the vacuum cleaner was from Walmart.
I knew someone that would buy a vacuum cleaner on Friday, vacuum Saturday morning and take it back claiming it didn't work Saturday afternoon. After a month, Walmart caught on and would only do gift cards.
I use credit cards for the cash back.

As far as gift cards go, I will never buy another gift card from Stripes. They changed their gift cards and we almost lost $14. Only one store knew how to transfer the money when the card stopped working because the card was not in their new system.

Note: I tend to be skeptical of whiners.
I have met way too many (what is the word I am looking for) to ever trust most people again.

Cini... I am Short $13 of my monthly Income this month do to Gov Credit/Debit card. And its Not the 1st time. But I will use it as an example. On the 3rd I went to the Bank as usual. I removed or Tried to remove my Income the Gov put on my card .. my SSD. Bank Machine Would Not except the card cause it needed a Password with the New Imbedded Chip. I told the Teller I give her the PW so I could get my Money to pay my bills. She refused even tho I told her I go home & Change the PW. No Biggie. Instead I was told I Had to go Outside to the ATM in the Cold! & Sit on my Mobility Scooter Behind a Car & Almost got Hit when another car came around the Bank to use the ATM!!! Missed hitting me by 6 inches! ALL I could get out was $20s bills. So After ALL that I Still couldn't cover ALL my Bills. So Who do I Cheat out of this months Payment??? NEVER Had this problem with Checks! Heck I didn't eve go to bank & Fight those Heavy doors to get in & out with Checks. My son did ALL the Banking! Since this system has been Forced on me I had to go in ALL kinds of Weather Been Sick a Lot of time for weeks after. Spend Most Winters Sick! Not to mention Damage to my Mobility Scooters. ME and a Million Other Folks Living on Retirement & SSD. I sent my son to the ATM once with my card he was ARRESTED! What a mess! I couldn't get out of Bed & we Needed FOOD! Sorry if I one of your Whiners. Cause I Really don't care IF you Believe me or not. Just Ask yourself Why would I Lie. Or anyone Lie... IF what people are saying about Amazon IS a Lie ALL Amazon has to do is Prove its Not true. They Shame their Employees ALL the time. So why not Shame a Customer/s that Lie?

I think you misunderstood me.
I meant don't use your credit card for frivolous purchases.

Might I recommend you change banks.
I don't know about your bank but at my bank to get money, we can write a check provided the funds are there, or we can just hand the teller our debit card and get the money or we can fill out a withdrawal slip and get money.

What does your SSD have to do with this? What bank are you with?

Please report that teller because she violated several laws. A bank cannot keep you from your funds.
Now she can only give you what is in the account.
Are you with Wells Fargo?

There is another solution if you trust your son. Put him on your bank account.

Now back to the Amazon thing. What I was trying to say was when most people do something blatantly wrong, they will blame everyone but themselves.
I don't think you would ever do anything blatantly wrong but I know too dang many that would or would try to skirt the rules.

Oh if you ever need food and can't afford it, Catholic Charities allows you to get food every 15 days. They can also help with your bills.

My Credit Card is From the Gov. Every month they put my SSD payments on it. Cant put my son on the card. Food here is Free If needed Every 60 days. You get an ID card that Punched & Stamped with the date. So you cant go place to place.
