That is why expert googlers use search terms like "xda framework xposed".
![]() But yeah, I can only imagine what kind of results people get when they don't think carefully about their search terms. ![]() |

I gave up on the NGP. A tried to like it a lot, mostly because it's waterproof. But its slugginess, messy refresh and insensitivity to touch were driving me crazy.
In the end I reverted to using the NG. I think most of the issues with the NGP come from the fact that the hardware is underpowered for the Android 4.4. |

Ultimately, I'm never going to use the NGP because its renderer is just bizarre, and appears to ignore my formatting at its pleasure, even when publisher defaults are enabled (and those it does render it renders in the ugliest manner possible).

In addition, Kobo has a company behind them that has proven to be willing to pour money into the device. B&N has proven they are just going to put out third rate devices while cutting back features. They've already discontinued two services, the 'Free Fridays' and the B1GO ebook in store offer. Read in store is, at best glitchy, that's when it even works and I have heard from BN employees that the program as a whole is on the chopping block. Their promise of being able to lend most books also seems to have fallen by the wayside, though that's more on the publishers. Oh and BN recently changed their 'free in-store support' to only cover "basic troubleshooting" (left vague and undefined) as well as device set up. Meaning a store can basically determine if your troubleshooting issue is something they want to deal with or not. There have already been reports of employees telling customers they don't cover devices they are currently selling. |

Can't say as I blame you. It feels like BN took the same hardware from the Glowlight that the Plus is replacing, except the screen, and threw it in a different casing. Then loaded it with an OS the hardware really couldn't handle just so they could have a few odd features.

I like them to run Android though as it makes them more flexible and convergent devices. |

After installing Root, ZeroLab Nooter and a few applications, my experience is not so bad.
I recommend using AIReader, a very good reader. I just miss two apps: a good pdf reader a working kindle app. Anyone knows a good pfd reader and if there is a kindle app working? |

@ZeroChaos, like your modded Cool Reader a lot. I especially love the auto scroll, but is there any way to adjust the scroll speed?

I found the modded Kindle for android in a private forum. Not sure if I can post it here. Duokan for Android information is here: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Duokan |
