Amazon Frie 10 Case is JUNK!

I just got this Yesterday! & Today my Fire Table just fell right out of it!!! Good thing it happened on my bed!

Any recommendations for a GOOD case that the Fire Will Stay in???

Katie, I have purchased 3 of the 7" cases and LOVE them, are you SURE you have snapped them in the case on both sides?

I did buy the keyboard case and it holds the HD10 really well, it it hard to get out of that case to put in a more slim case.

Try checking to see you have snapped your HD10 into the case well.

Yes it was Snapped in! I have had these snap in cases before Never has one just Dropped the reader!

We have that style and brand for our three Fire HD 6 tablets, as well as MIL's Fire HD 7 tablet. None have ever fallen out. Perhaps your case is defective. Can you exchange it at Best Buy?

I had this style for 2 Sony ereaders & my Fire HD org & My Fire Phone ALL were Hard to get out of the case But this one Fire 10 just fell right out!

Well Guess I need Ideas to make this case work... Returning it going to Cost me Postage... I already Paid $5 postage to get the damn thing. On Top of that ..."a restocking fee of up to 25%" Which I think is a Rip Off!

It sure sounds defective to me so that is what I'd claim. If you return it as defective they shouldn't charge you a restocking fee or probably even postage.

If you didn't get through Amazon but by a Amazon merchant it sounds like one of the many counterfeit cases going around. I'd contact Amazon and report the merchant. If you got it through Amazon directly or it was fulfilled by Amazon it falls under Amazon's return policy and you just return it through Amazon and wont have to pay anything because it's defective.

Quick fix if you don't want to return it -

Go to Dollar General or the Dollar Tree and buy some stick on velcro circles. Attach to the back of the device and the inside of the cover. It won't fall out again.

I was thinking some elastic. But I like your idea.

The Velcro Circles are thick when they are attached. I had thought of them. But think they push the Fire out too far. I Also thought of Double sided Tape Too sticky... &/or Rubber bands!

Booklover 6... you are thinking of the Keyboard Case I Did get at Best Buy. It is a Universal case & the Tabs that hold the Fire in Blocks the power button. Also for reading its real heavy. It works great when I want to type a lot. But reading in bed it gets in the way

That why I got the Amazon lighter case that also acts as a stand. Yes I did get it from one of the sellers. On Sale cause it was Advertised as Minor imperfections. The only thing I saw wrong out of the box was the box was ripped. NEVER Dreamed the imperfection was the Fire Wouldn't Stay in the case!
IF I do return or buy another one I love to find a silicon case...cause this Fire is Slippery I cant hold on to it & when I try to prop it up on the pillows it wont Stay put!

Reviews on these cases are Horrible! Falling apart looking nasty & dirty. But no one said they had problems with the Fire Falling out! So I hope folks Read the Reviews Before they buy them.

If it is the exact case you linked to, made by Amazon, then it sounds like it is defective. I would file a claim or talk to CS.

I love silicone shells, my daughter has one on her $49 Fire.
