WOW... You run an international company! KEWL... I hope you send her the odd Timmie's gift card.
Spoiler:
Tim Hortons for those who don't know, is a large coffee / doughnut chain in Canada, now owned by the same people as Burger King.

Oh, yeah. Sounds fab, right? As you know, Peter, it's more like running a hair salon, and about as cool, too. HA!

(And yes: she's a big Timmie's fan).

I'm going to swear at my hp printer. Stupid new wireless service changed and windows 20 upgrade and it's taken me three hours to get absolutely nowhere in getting the printer to show up. Hp's site is as useless. So many untested documents.

I'm with you; our trusty HP color printer seems to have taken a dump. Our older trusty laser printer (also HP, mind you) started right up after 6 years of non-use and printed happily away.

I know what you mean about swearing at it. I was thinking about taking mine out and using it for target practice.

Still no luck. I swear every page that seems different on the HP site leads you to the installation of the same thing, which in no manner gives me an option to choose setting it up wirelessly.

Why can't I just download a driver. Plug in the USB cable and have the driver let me set up that I want to use it wirelessly. I ranted on the HP site how they need to actually hire a usability person for their products and an information architect to fix their dysfunctional web site.

I have been blessed to have been adopted by many kitties, but my all time favorite was Morris. Morris was a great ginger Maine Coon, and yes, I named him after that famous television personality who used to huckster for some cat food company.

I'm currently owned by three American Short Hairs, none of which have a drop of MC in them.

Felaxin is what we would give our cat for hairballs. We would get it from the veterinary clinic. Just a bit on a spoon once a week pretty much solved any problems she would have. She would lick it right off the spoon.

Some of hers were pretty big.

Yup, I can relate to that! At one point, we had 6 indoor cats. A Siamese who was DEFINITELY the head cat, her litter-mate, an apparent Russian Blue, two Himalayans, and a pair of Maine Coons. One of the MCs, Stanley, was all black and weighed in at 24 Lbs. The hairballs were really disgusting and huge.

Sigh. All are now gone, but we still have a rescued cat who spends her life torturing the two Cavaliers and sleeping. She caught one mouse, 5 years ago, and she decided she wasn't doing that again.

That's Laxatone, right? Felaxin is an OTC preparation; it's petrolatum. My two won't TOUCH Laxatone, not for love nor money. Believe me, ever since Hartz changed their *&^%$#@! formulation, my cats won't touch ANY type of hairball remedy. How do I know? Let me count the ways that I've wasted my money on tube after tube after TUBE of various and sundry petrolatum products.

They loved and begged for the ORIGINAL Hartz (I think I mean Hartz) formulation. When Hartz changed it, and caused a huge kerfuffle all over the net, Hartz then changed it again, claiming that they'd changed it back to the original formulation, but they didn't. They simply lied. My cats won't touch that, either. I have about one-half-of-a-fingertip's worth, of the original-original here, which I'm hanging on to, mostly so I can compare what's in the formulations. It's a frustrating search.

The female actually doesn't need it. She obviously passes her (lighter-than-air) soft flat coat through the other end. But my male...oy vey, as my friends would say. He loved the Hartz, and now...nada, zip, zein, zilch, no-way. Not that, nor the Laxatone, nor anything else I've tried. He does like Coconut Oil, but he can't have wet food (in which I could mix it), because that, for whatever reason, doesn't even stay in his stomach long enough to start to digest. He east wet food, and it comes right back up. <sigh>

That's a lot of cat. I mean, Stanley, by himself, but adding in all the others--MCs, two Himmies (one of our former cats was a lovely sealpoint Himmy), and some, not all, Siamese can get to be rather large their own good selves. Did they all sleep with you? Ye Gods, just with my two I get up cramped up every day, from the female's possession of my legs in an immovable bend, and the male's spooning. I don't think I can imagine sleeping with all you listed! (Although, perhaps, with that many kitties puppy-piling, they don't desire/need the human hot-water-bottles nearly as much?)

LOL. My two refuse to chase crickets, an activity that I would condone, and instantly go bonkers for chasing scorpions, an activity that I don't. Ain't it always the way?

Could you just put some in either a bowl and let him lap it up or put some in a syringe and squirt it down his throat?
Or is he one of those that needs a straight jacket to get medicine down?

It's an idea. You mean the Coconut oil, right? I suppose theoretically, it can't hurt. (No, he'll eat almost anything. Walking garbage pit). I've not gone that way because he tends to wear his food a bit, not because he's a slob--far from it--but because he's just a hairy son of a gun. He tends to get his bib, even one that is carefully trimmed, in everything.

He literally likes to submerge his face into his water (he does the head tuck n roll, into his water bowl, which is quite large). I'm a bit concerned that I'll end up with a coconut-oiled kitty. And even though he likes water, and likes to get in the shower when I'm done, etc., I'm pretty sure he's NOT a huge bath fan, and I can't conceive of a handy way--not even cat-wipes--for getting coconut oil OUT of a MC's heavy coat. Zoiks. Piccies of the perpetrators for you. The male (Zep) is the brown tabby, the silver tabby atop the cabinets is the wee lassie, Storm.

They are adorable.
My mom has an MC, a couple of rag dolls and other miscellaneous cats. One of the rags tends to be a messy eater.
Though the longest haired cat we ever had was Liza Jane. She was part Persian and her hair was at least 6 inches long. We lived on the Gulf Coast and this was before Frontline and Revolution.
Her mom's hair was about half as long.
The mom was Maybe. When we got her she was 2 weeks old. She had been abandoned. She was deaf but made funny sounds.

I believe you are right that that was originally laxatone. I hate when products change. Ugh. They stopped distributing the food my cat was eating for a while and that was a total disaster getting her to eat again.

The felaxin stuff smells like molasses and Maple would eat the stuff straight off of a spoon. I used to give it to her right before the supper time meal so maybe that was extra incentive for her knowing food would show up right after.

I miss her. She's only been gone for six months.
