Would you mind briefly explaining what a two-level table of contents is?

I hope that the information might be valuable to other Mobilereaders besides me.

Consider a boxed set or a complete works or indeed a bible

With a two-level or multilevel table of contents you first see just entries for each book, either just one or perhaps introduction text and afterword

So

Genesis
Exodus

When you click on one of these you see entries for each chapter or section and (for a Bible) you may be able to enter the verse.

If the book indices are not done this way for a 'complete works' of twenty books or collections with say twenty-five chapters or stories each there will be 500 lines in the table of contents which you have to page through to find a book.

It's clear, now, thanks.

I actually purchased the bundle, opened the book (bundle), and noticed that the books were listed separately. I didn't know that there was a name for that. As you implied, this is a plus for a collection of books.

Ideally, in my thinking, when you buy a bundle, you would get a separate file for each one of the books in the bundle and could open each one individually/separately. That would be asking a lot for 99 cents, I suppose, though!

FREE Be Comforted (Isaiah) in Warren Wiersbe's The BE Series Commentary.

Be Comforted (Isaiah) (The BE Series Commentary). "New edition." By Warren W. Wiersbe. Rated 4.9 stars, from 39 reviews at Amazon! Print list price $14.99; digital list price $12.99; Kindle price now $0.00. David C. Cook, publisher. 193 pages. http://www.amazon.com/Be-Comforted-I...dp/B006J9DFIK/.

The one other place that I checked, Christianbook.com, also has this title for free (ePub (DRM Free)): http://www.christianbook.com/be-comf...985/pd/13987EB.

Book Description
For anyone who thinks that comfort is equivalent to pity and that it is only pricelss for those who need an emotional crutch, best-selling author Warren Wiersbe applies the words of the prophet Isaiah to prove that God's comfort is no such thing.

With definitions and insights, the "pastor of pastors" and phenomenal author Warren W. Wiersbe continues to enliven the Scriptures as he weaves the words of Isaiah with historical explanations and thought-provoking questions for every chapter, creating a study guide that can be used in personal Bible study or with a group.

I see that the Delphi collected works do it the way I approve.

ISTR they also offer a one file per book option.

As to "could open each one individually/separately" if ebook readers offered an option to open the referenced book from a list this would work out well but having your home page full of all works by the same author and not readily being able to see a complete series would likely make this very messy.

Thanks. That's helpful information. Now if I can just remember it the next time that the issue/opportunity comes up . . . .

Re., the Delphi collected works. They currently (it may be perpetually, I don't know--I just found it recently) have a large anthology of poems, Delphi Poetry Anthology (version 2) free right now. You will save a whole 99 cents (ymmv in the U.K.) from the price at Amazon for it! I doubt that they offer a one file per poem option on that, though. ha

Which has 12 - all "best of" collections plus a Bible (King James/ AV)

Which leads back to this thread's topic

I'd never steer you wrong (American idiom).

Coincidentally, I just made a post, myself, on General Fiction thread about the freebies. I don't want you to think that I was stealing your post. ha

I was just at the Delphi Classics website and it appears that their "Parts Edition" or "Elite Parts Edition" will actually separate the poems! Those editions do cost extra, though.

Also concerning the Anthology . . . . I meant to mention that the ebook is also available as an ePub, it's also free. Apparently, though, there is no pdf, free or otherwise!

I like the way that you got the convo back on Christian Interest! Since I'm not on the appropriate thread, I'll say no more about Delphi Classics--unless it's about their KJV Bible (that may be the only ebook that they produce that would qualify as one of "Christian Interest").

Converting ePub or even Mobi to PDF is a lot more satisfactory than the other way about so no big deal.

Needs two steps here EPub to Word to FB2, Word or FB2 to PDF

Awesome! I've tried out numerous online converters with, let us say, "less than satisfactory results." I don't think that I find this one in my earlier searches. Maybe it was because the U.S. Google doesn't search U.K. webites or at least that they don't put a high enough priority on hits in the U.K. I dunno. Thanks.
