GooglePlay?
I want to install a free tuner app. I need to register my device with GooglePlay in order to get the app. I don't see any way to do that on my Kindle Fire. I can find My Account in the Settings, but no way to add a new account. It is probably right in front of my face but I don't see it. Is it impossible?

Nope! Only apps that Truly work are Amazon Apps.

If it's a free app on Google Play you can use one of the APK download sites by pasting the GP URL for the app in and downloading the APK file, then sideloading it to the Fire. Not every sideloaded app works or works well (like Vudu) on Amazon's custom Android fork, but most work just fine.
As to the Google Play store on the Fire here's a method, although I've never tried it, I've just sideloaded the few apps I wanted... http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire...6-hd7-t2933523 |

Wow, well that answers that. Thanks a lot. I might check out the side loading later.
Thanks a lot. |

I have a very basic android tablet that I use to sideload the apks from. I back up using Clean Master on the Android tablet then send between the Android tablet and the Fires using ES File Explorer.

It plays the Vudu movies great its getting the app to work. Kinda works when it in the mood if you know what I mean. I have asked Vudu to make an app for the Fire but they say they don't have enough customer request at this point in time to do it.

It worked for me using the method on the link below;
http://www.geek.com/tablets/you-can-...-fire-1636475/ The program did give me the option to remove advertisment but I was hesitant to choose that option. |
