Merging two libraries HOW?? Help Pls???

Hi I read the old thread and got done till here

Hi i copied the friends library to another location on drive with another name . But got stuck on this step
hank you most useful. So I open my library, then go to Switch/create to locate the new library.
There are three options:

Use previously ....
Create empty .....
Move current .......

How do I import (merge) the new library into my library please?
which option do i use after this??????

You have to do two steps.

- First you have to open the imported library using "use previously created library at the new location"

- then you select the desired books and copy them to your own library:
Right click and select "copy to library"
Select your library from the menu and select whether the book should be deleted from this one.
Done.

kacir's steps are fine

CAUTION
DO NOT use the OS to copy ADDITIONAL books to an existing Library

You can make a FULL copy of any SINGLE Library using the OS, but that is the only time

Merging is only done by using Calibre to do that job.

And it really is SIMPLE
