It should not =/= does not. Unless you did check this (and using the device specified, no some other Kindle model on "same" firmware build) you should not claim a thing. Especially since you claims were wrong on more than one occasion!

Amazon tweaked god knows how many thing regarding renderer and *reader.* jar files for "enhanced typography" so it would not be that strange that an unofficial "feature" dies in process, just like when we had "USE_ALT_FONTS" and poof , no more.

Since for the first time I can't jailbreak my Kindle I don't have a choice to revert back to previous firmware if need, so I ask before installing new firmware to be 100% certain. Kindle without hyphens in sideloaded/converted books and without ability to change font size values and have absolute choice of fonts is useless to me. That is where I draw a line... I'm forced to have to embed fonts in every f-ing book and live with those default margins, but no more compromises are forthcoming.

Its a galaxy tab s 8.4, gone through all the reading apps and the best one seems to be the Kindle App, it is, at least, the prettiest, I needed an app that displayed the book title at the top of the screen and the kindle app is I believe one of only two that does this, have a feeling the app won't get the new engine for a long, long time

Are you kidding me!? The kindle app shows the book title on the top but kindles don't? It had been years since I read on a tablet and I forgot.

My Kindle Voyage does show the Book title while in the book when you tap at the top to get the menu of options for the book. Which is great for me now the kindle app does show the book title at the very top of each page which for me is over kill.

Oh yeah, it doesn't now, does it! Yeah I missed the feature from my Kobo, thought it would be useful for when sexy people on the bus want to scope out my book and ask me out(hasn't happened yet

The kindle app is probably the most refined, apparently the nook app is meant t be good too but alas is not available on my tab. Still really enjoying the clarity of reading on my tab but like I said I still enjoy the 'quietness' of my kindle so after my rant about selling it i calmed down a bit and have decided to keep it haha (once I realised that it wasn't just a huge Amazon conspiracy and the enhanced typesetting DOES actually exist...)

Depends what device you have it on. I was thrilled to see the book title show up on my Nexus 7 and 10 a while back. Not so much when the app on my phone doesn't show it. Must be a phone vs. tablet thing. Cannot be a resolution issue as my Note 4 does have higher resolution than the Nexus 7. Or a screen size issue possibly. Shouldn't have been too hard to give an option of it in the settings?
