This ebook is marked down 100%--it's $0.00. Unlike (all?) other posts that I've made, however, I didn't take into consideration the amount of markdown when deciding to post this one. I'm posting it because I think that it could be tremendously helpful to children who are being bullied at school and other places. The importance of this was driven home to me when a boy at the middle school right down the road from where I live took his own life recently. Investigation revealed that he had been regularly bullied at school; the implication of news reports was that he took his own life because of it.

Information on the book's webpage suggests that this book is appropriate for ages 10-18. Although the book is intended for children, I felt that it was more appropriate to post it on the Non-Fiction thread than the Children's/YA thread, because of the active role that parents will want to play in having their children read it and, possibly, following up with them after they have read it.

I meant that as a joke (hence the "ha" at the end), thinking that it just had to be a made-up name, but then I got to thinking . . . maybe that that was the name that he got at birth!

So, I checked Wikipedia (I found Zig Ziglar's "official" website to be no help at all with this; it serves as the website for the Zig Ziglar Corporation) and, sure enough, for what it's worth, "Ziglar" is the surname that he came with, his parents being "Ziglars." I couldn't find anything there or anywhere else about the first name "Zig," and I still have to believe that that name was not a given one. It definitely sounds like a nickname, and in the business that he was in (sales) a catchy name like "Zig Ziglar" could be worth $$millions$$.

So, I stand corrected. Partially.

BTW--I was sad to notice that Zig Ziglar passed away in 2012, after having had turned 86 years old about three weeks before. I had been a fan of his since 1979.

Now, I have strayed from the subject that this thread is for--ebooks--and to make amends, I want to share with you five freebies that the ZigZiglar.com website offers as "Five Life-Changing Tools". I can't tell exactly what they are! However, it looks like there may be a couple of audiobooks among the bunch, and two or three ebooks and/or ebooklets. Of course, it asks for the usual information--name and email address--and also asks three easy-to-answer, non-intrusive questions.

I'm going to rummage around the website some more to see if there are any more freebies that I can tell Mobilereaders about. And, of course, I'll keep an eye out for any of Zig's books that are marked down!

You can ask Amazon to match a price by going to the book's webpage at Amazon. Scroll down. At the very end of the Product Description, there is a sentence which says, "Would you like to give feedback on images or tell us about a lower price?" "Tell us about a lower price" is a hotlink (it's in blue). Follow it. Give the little bit of information that it requests. Wait a while. Check the site again to see if the price has been lowered.
