Thank you. Actually, I thought that these will be the filenames and tried to download them yesterday, but they seem to have an other location than the other dictionary files.
Does anybody know the urls?

After a two days with the new Glo HD and 3.16.10 I am a bit surprised how unstable it is. Several times I saw spontaneous reboots with the new firmware. Very strange.

I have had some reboots when ejecting from my Windows laptop. But, I think it was something wrong with a particular port and a little fiddling seems to have fixed it.

Peyton : no ghosting on mini with 3.15.0 ???

On Glo model 3.15.0 and 3.16.0 are a real disaster ... a lot of owners of this model seem to wait anxiously the last version and hope it will better (but no news, perhaps in august?) !

Downgrade firmware?
Hi there,

My Aura HD updated to fw 3.15 some two weeks ago, but it's got to be the worse fw ever. Now my Aura HD is slow, sluggish and I can't even select a word to look up the dictionary without hassle.

Is there any way to downgrade the fw?

If so, how?

Download the firmware file you need from the first post in this thread, take the right mark4 hardware file and unzip it complete with subdirectory that is in the zip in your .kobo directory and safely eject it, the the device reboot and your old version is back.
You maybe have to patch it, because when you synchronize it, 3.15 will be pushed again to your device. When you downgrade all books and settings stay untouched. There is a link to the patch directory in the same first post. Sometimes it helps to reset the device with a paperclip in the pinhole to make it responsive again without the need to downgrade.

A little question to developers !

A lot of people seems to be disappointed by 3.15.0 and 3.16.0, so for one time, could you give us some informations about the release date of the next firmware and his content (especially if ghosting will be fixed) ? if the date is in few days or weeks with good news about ghosting, that could avoid to downgrade ...

I'm using 3.15.0 on my H2O. I don't find the issues mention by others to be relevant. Long presses work. RMDSK page turns work. And all the other slow downs/press issues work.

For me, the ghosting was rather bad on 3.15.0. On 3.16.0 there is hardly any ghosting if at all.

Same here.

3.13 - good
3.15 - bad
3.16 - good

I use the kePub renderer exclusively. Perhaps the ePub renderer didn't have those issues.
