I prefer a 6 inch screen.

Personally, I previously owned an Aura HD and now own a Glo HD. When I went to the Aura HD, I thought it was nice to have more screen real estate. However, over time I came to miss that it was less portable, which probably sounds dumb considering it is .8" bigger. But I quickly noticed that it didn't fit as nicely into my back pocket as my previous reader. Now that I'm back to a 6" reader, I really like how easily it fits.

I also find the screen to be noticeably better than the Aura HD. Between the better contrast and compressing the pixels into a smaller surface area, it is very sharp looking. I've seen complaints about the reflective bezel edges, but find that arbitrary. From the perspective of speed, after the last update, it's page turns are very fast. I'm very happy with it.

And many with you; just not me and jswolf (which was what I meant). I prefer the 6.8" myself, so I'm not really interested in either the PW3 or the Glo HD. A 6.8" 'Voyage 2' with 300 dpi and the haptic buttons, now...

Yes, that is how I felt. I had the Aura HD but was afraid to take it out of the house (even in a case). So I sold it and stuck to 6" readers, and that's also why I never got the Aura H2O, although I would like the water & dust proof model in a 6" size.

I'm lucky. I've always used my inside jacket pockets for transporting my readers, and they fit the H2O no problem.

And there's the answer.

Both are great machines. Indeed, ever since the Aura's Kobo became mature and the PW range is simply delicious. Unless there are specific reasons (PDF/text selection/etc.)the devices are excelent for reading.

Wishy washy about uneven lightning or papertone on these devices is only for the really sensitive. An "old" Aura HD is generally sharper than most paperbacks... it needs to be highquality glossy paper before paper surpasses that.

We are spoilt

I would pick and choose on your usage. Do you live in the Amazon store, get a kindle. If you have large libraries of Epubs look at the kobo. Otherwise flip a coin

Oh... and before I forget: since when are devices under 300 grams too heavy???? How did you guys manage with real books?
