just ordered mine, it came to $195.14 Canadian (including shipping). How do i find out how much it was USD?

You can look up what the current exchange rate is for CAD to USD for an idea, or just wait until the charge hits your bank. Your bank statement will show the converted USD amount.

i'm so excited for a new e ink reader (i've had nothing but my sony for 5 yrs)!

how long does it usually take to ship (never ordered anything from Canada before, so i'm unsure if they ship on Saturdays if it doesn't go out today)? my order already went through, it's just listed as awaiting shipment.

do any of you use screen protectors? my sony has one, but my nook HD doesn't, so i'm trying to decide if the H2O will need one, as well as a case.

Congrats on your new reader! I have no personal experience with ordering from Canada, but from what I've read here, I think most people who have ordered are happy with the quickness of the delivery.

Regarding screen protectors/cases--my vote is no for the screen protector but a definite yes for a case. I've had several different e-readers and have never used a screen protector--they just add another layer that can cause blurriness or distortion. On the other hand, the right case will provide significant protection for the reader.

just got it today, do you know if you can authorize more than one computer at the same time so long as you use the same Adobe account?

The answer to that is "yes". Adobe allows up to six authorized devices on a single account.

I agree on 'no' screen protector, 'yes' case. The vulnerable part of the screen is the substrate, and a screen protector would do nothing to protect it. A case is mandatory, especially if you're going to carry it about with you. If it's going to live on your nightstand, you could probably forego one.
