First of all follow this thread to recover your devices (don't modify "the original recovering zip file content" replacing the included update.zip by the new one).


After, you can update your device easily through the recovery bootloader placing the last Booxtor update.zip in your SD card (with T68 turn off, if you press back and power at the same time, you enter in recovery mode, then apply a "wipe data/factory reset" and afterwards "apply update from external storage, be patient because it takes time).

Hello.

Has anyone managed to develop code and have eclipse/qtcreator/....etc.. upload the app to a T68 device. I can do it with a SD card and an APK installer from PlayStore, but I am unable to do it through USB like I do with my Samsung S4. Anyone?

Has anyone notices that there is a short delay between pressing a page turn button on the T68 and the beginning of the drawing of the next page? I see it in Alreader configured to fully refresh the screen on each page flip, but other people reported it in other apps too and with other screen refresh configurations. The interesting thing is that if you go forward->back->forward, the second "forward" flip goes without any delay, so it's not a pure hardware performance issue (and the Alreader app itself does not cache anything - I checked with the dev).

I tried the newest build.prop and it didn't change anything in this regard.


Has anyone also noticed this and does anyone has a solution?

Thank you for your detailed information on tweaking the T68. Since the last update from ereader-store.de is 3 months old I'm not counting on any further improvements from them. Anyway, the T68 is a cool device and pretty usable by my standards.

The one information I missed, or maybe I overlooked, is how the provided build.prop is swapped for the original one. Can you explain, or point me to an earlier explanation?

1. Root your device
2. Mount the /system/ partition to be read/write (I use ES File Explorer for that)
3. Keep a copy of the file /system/build.prop
4. Replace the file /system/build.prop by the one provided by krusko
5. Reboot

Hi, just uploaded new updates for M96 and T68. Please check it out. Sorry for delayed posting of updates. Our team worked on new launcher and just didn't want to put any effort in old launcher. There is new launcher now in this update with many improvements.

The global contrast adjustment really changes my experience in using M96 e.g. the texts in web browsing are much more readable.
Also, seems that the graphics and speed in Neo Reader improves.
Eraser works fine.

Do not have a T68 to test the zooming, but that looks promising.

P.S.
One thing I find is that the thinnest line for scribbling (using the big pen) in NeoReader becomes too thick now.

Hi Max,

the minimum line width in Neo Scribble can be adjusted in settings:
Menu->more->settings->ScribbleBar ->set scribble line width

You can also use the small button near to pen tip to activate scribble in Neo. Just press it and touch the screen.

The clear view (fast refresh) during some animated actions works also very fine on M96 (especially our 85Hz version). Next step will be to extend this clear view functionality for general use in every app. I saw already very good video play on the screen of M96. I find that when I drag the pdf in Neo, it automatically goes to fast refresh mode,which is very handy! Looking forwards to the further updates you mentioned!

With these features in T68 now, I am re-considering getting a T68 (but seems it is out of stock at your store).

Also, how do I know if my M96 screen is 85HZ? I got it from your store around mid of Nov (the first batch with the eraser stylus).

Again, thanks for your great work in keeping with the update-software-promise.

Thank you for the wonderful update.

Unfortunately I have the same problem with anno4. If you switch to the full screen mode in Neo (by hiding the status bar), you can no longer select a word or even show the menu bar. And the home/menu button does not work either.

Strange, I tried some devices here in lab and couldn't replicate this behaviour. Did you enable the big pen in settings?
