Lol That's an excellent description of time travel. Thanks for posting that!
Oh, 'have to come up with another trivia fact(s) according to the rules and regulations of the thread... Again, according to 10 Words Coined in the Sci-Fi Universe, "Zero gravity was coined by Arthur C. Clarke in Sands of Mars, his first science-fiction novel. A year later, he coined the term zero g, where g is short for "gravity," in his novel Islands in the Sky. Zero gravity is the condition in which the apparent effect of gravity is zero, and objects float if they aren't tied down to something larger and more sturdy, like the wall of a space ship." |

The main difference between a teepee and a wigwam is that a teepee is made out of buffalo hide and sticks and were mainly lived in by Indians from the Great Plains, whereas wigwams are mainly made of hay and were lived in by Indians from the Northeast.

"Warp speed
If you're traveling in a spacecraft at a speed faster than light, you're moving at warp speed. The word warp comes from the Old English wearp which refers to threads running over fabric. In the 20th century, it became popular to conceptualize space and its relation to time as a fabric. The first known usage of warp in relation to speed was in a 1968 Star Trek script, 'All Our Yesterdays.' Since its debut in English, warp speed has taken on metaphorical senses outside the realm of space." Source: 10 Words Coined in the Sci-Fi Universe |

The commonest material in the world is Perovskite, named after the mineralogist Count Lev Perovski. It's a mineral compound of magnesium, silicon and oxygen. It accounts for half of the world's mass and is what most of the Earth's mantle is made of.

And at that it still wouldn't be fast enough for the Enterprise to reach its destination as I understand it. The galaxy is just too big for the ship to make it at a cubed speed of a warp factor. Of course back in the late 60's few would have known that.

In Doctor Who the TRADIS has changed shape from the Police Call Box form. The Sixth Doctor managed to get the Chameleon Circuit working but disliked the results so much that he disabled it.

I don't think it is. Naturally occurring Perovskite is made of calcium, titanium, and oxygen.
I believe that the most common mineral on the surface of the Earth's crust is silica (silicon dioxide). But the Earth's core seems to be mostly iron and if you take the Earth as a whole, that probably accounts for most of it. |

And just about a week ago we lost 'the time traveller' when Rod Taylor passed away. I always liked his interpretation of the Wells book, though the remake with Guy Pierce isn't bad either.
