This is the eBay item I bought and it came from the UK. It arrived today, Tuesday. I ordered it at the weekend.

I cannot find it on eBay located in North America.

The case is thin, and adds very little weight or bulk to the h2o. The material is fake leather and is as you would expect it to be, it is not rubbery and has a textured leather finish. There is flocking in the inside of it, they've been reasonably generous with it so I don't expect it would go bald/shiny too quickly.

There are two metal sections which form the magnets. The case closes securely and will not open up without a deliberate effort. The front of the case will slide to the left (using the give in the spine) by about 1cm or half an inch or so. The cover sits exactly where it should be when the device is closed. I'm not sure if that will change as the spine of the cover ages.

The rear of the case is shaped in the same way as the rear of the h2o. I had expected there to be a bit of foam as that would be easier to make but it's a nice and neat finish.
...
Looks like the one I have, just from a different merchant. I can't complain. Very pleased for the few bucks spent. I always get these cheaply priced book style cases for my devices.

I eventually got this, after a bad experience with a universal case bought on Ebay that left small dents on two corners of the H2O...

I'm pretty happy with it so far, it feels nice and looks more expensive than it is. The magnets are strong, so the front cover won't open accidentally, but if you fold it back it puts the reader in sleep mode. It doesn't bother me much as I usually put a finger in between, and since the spine is not rigid, you could also fold the cover back in a way that doesn't activate the magnet.
Inside, there's a flap with a strip of velcro holding the reader in place. The opening on the front is just right for the screen.
Hope this was helpful!

That's an issue with quite a few H2O sleep covers.

You can easily solve it by putting a small rectangle of ferromagnetic metal, such as steel, behind the reader in the case, so it shields the magnet. I used a rectangle cut from the lid of a tin of soup to fix my Gecko cover, which had the same problem. Wrap the metal in a paper towel, or something similar, so it doesn't scratch the back of the H2O.

Note that it has to be a ferromagnetic material, so something like aluminium foil won't work.

Fintie Case

I purchased a Fintie case off ebay and it fits perfectly. I've used Fintie cases before and they are good quality. Latching magnet is not too strong and the wakeup feature works perfectly. Also, for you cover-folder-overers, there is no issue.

Thank you for that review. I now have decided what case to get for my H2O. I'm going to get a Fintie. Just have to decide what color I want.

Just received my Fintie H2O case, ordered from Amazon. I got Purple; it's a bit darker than the picture shows, but overall it's more solid than the Kobo H2O sleepcover or the Tsmile case. I've found a winner (unless Mulbess releases an H2O cover)!

I also bought the Fintie cover (from amazon.de); it's really nice, but when I fold it over it makes the reader sleep.

I usually buy cheap covers on Ebay, I often order two and just keep the prettiest while selling the other. (there's lots of ppl here who want a cheap cover asap or don't use Ebay, so re-selling usually isn't a problem) This time I put both on sale and ordered two Finties on Amazon.de, a navy blue and a purple one. Of course the uglier Fintie will go also on sale What I like about the Fintie is that it's made of a different material than the average chinese cover and has sort a matte finish, I'm bored with plastic that attempts to look like leather (and fails at it).

It's trivial to fix. See my previous posts on the subject. Not worth the hassle of returning, to my mind.

Thanks a lot for your advice. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work in my case - I put there a quite large piece of metal (feromagnetic), which covers, I believe, eveything needed, but the reader still falls to sleep ocationally.

EDIT: I moved it down and now it works - apparently I didn't cover the right place
Thanks again!

[for anybody else having this problem - the magnetic sensor seems to be in the lower right corner of the screen; in the end I used a rather small piece of metal - less than 1 cm^2]

Point being that a number of people here have bought Fintie covers and do not have the problem of the reader sleeping when the front is folded back, so psv probably has a defective one.

That's not good. That's not what I want. A sleep cover should be able to be folded back without putting the H2O to sleep.

Oh, I entirely agree that it's faulty. All I'm saying is that fixing it is less hassle than returning it; it takes about 2 minutes to do.
