Staples also works well with Ebates. Staples currently offers 2% cash back and you receive it as soon as the item ships. Some stores never give it to you citing some excuse. For example, I've never received cash back from Best Buy. All things being equal Staples gets my business.

Nah, got the 4 gb, didn't see the 8 for that price. I have a 32gb card sitting at home on my desk just waiting for me to fill it up and pop it right in.

For people who live near a physical Chapters Indigo store, this deal is also available in-store until the 30th, according to the signs I saw and the mini flyer pamphlet thing the staff were passing out.

And while I was there, I noticed that another of their Black Friday sales is for a Kobo Vox 7 (non-HD) for $79.99, IIRC. (They also appeared to have markdowns on the Vox HD models, but not as special Black Friday sale prices with their tartan promo banner.)

The only advantage to the extra 4 GB in most situations is that it allows you more breathing room before you need to put in a micro SD card, whose inclusion has the slight disadvantage of using a little more battery. If you intended to pop in that 32 GB card immediately, then it's just the usually minor difference between having 36 rather than 40 GB available storage.

If anyone's looking to get the Nexus 7 (2013), it's on sale today for $20 off at Amazon, making it $179.99. It may be a bit weird about showing you that price. I was seeing it in my wish list at that price, but then it wouldn't show it to me on the product page or even work with the add to cart button from the wish list. But after a bit it started showing again and I was able to purchase one.

The Nexus 7 (2013) is still one of the best 7" tablets, and I've seen a couple of tech sites listing it in their Christmas gift suggestions this year.

I could be wrong but I think that the one from Groupon is a 2012 model rather than 2013. I wish Google would come up with a less confusing model naming system for the Nexus devices.

That's the 2012 model, and you want to avoid it. Asus/Google used really slow flash memory in the 2012 version and two years out it's getting to be so slow that it's unusable. The 2013 version fixed that issue, as well as having much better specs all around.
