Before adding the image, I had been playing around with different styles and colors. It may have taken the previously selected color and applied it to the image. I'll take a screenshot of the color choice and it may help.

Any one else using the Washington Post app that came with 4.5? It's a 6 month subscription for free. I've never read that paper before this.

I just bought a 16GB Fire HD 6 last week at full price as part of the $40 off Kindle-Prime promo. So I called CS to request a $20 price difference refund and they honored it "since the price of the item has changed within seven days of the delivery of the order". Final price:

When I got my Fire last week, the Washington Post app was on it. I looked it over and wasn't too impressed, so I deleted the app from both device and cloud. Several days later, it was reinstalled on my Fire without any action on my part. The articles do have a nice layout and the photos are beautiful. I guess I'll keep it for a while. Perhaps the Sunday edition will have more articles of interest to me.

I ordered mine on the 19th. The email I received based the seven days on the delivery date, not the order date. Call, you have nothing to lose.

I just contacted Amazon, although my order is two days outside of the window, they gave me the $20 credit also.
