The problem is that I'm in South Africa, so eBay isn't an option. I've only managed to find one case on amazon that is available to ship here, and even then the case is $5 and shipping is $15! But it seems worth it now when it didn't before

I dropped my 1st K3 and was unfortunate enough to break the substrate. It didn't fall from that high a height either. What was worse was that the warranty had already lapsed. I was fortunate to be able to get a 2nd hand for only $60.00 odd bucks but wouldn't have had to pay that much if I'd dropped it before the yr was up. So far with my PaperWhite I haven't had that problem. I got that one in the contest in Winter 2012 and so far I've had no problems and no need to upgrade to a PaperWhite 2.

So she hasn't up dated her profile... People Learn to Read! Her 1st post said she Updated to the New Kindle only 2 choices... $79 new basic or $199 Voyager. As soon as she got it she dropped it! Now Amazon is sending her a replacement.

Sorry for all the confusion I upgraded from the Kindle Keyboard to the new Basic Kindle. I'm off to update my profile....

(Yes, I could have ordered the Voyage, even in South Africa, just wasn't sure it was worth the cost )

I've ordered the Exact case, but it's only going to arrive in December, so I'll just have to be super careful with the new kindle until then!
