If anyone can do this it would be fantastic:
One of the reasons I'd like to upgrade from my PW2 is that the one pdf I read daily, the New York Times' Daily Digest, is just barely visible using the full screen view. (Zooming in and out is a pain.) Can anyone check to see if the Voyage offers increased readability of this?

Is the KV able to turn the light down further?

I haven't spent much time with my KV yet but it is significantly darker.

I read in bed in a completely dark room and my PW1 on the lowest setting is so bright I end up angling the screen away because it burns my eyeballs after a little while.

On my KV I've been reading comfortably around setting 3-5 but these have been short sessions so far.

One should note, though, that the PW2 light also can be turned down far more than the PW1s one.

I did not get my KV yet, but from what I have read the lowest light levels of the PW2 and KV are comparable.

If anyone is still interested I currently have a lot of frontlit Kindles laying around and did a quick montage to compare their light color and distribution.

I compared 2x PW2, 2x PW3 and 1x Voyage. All the Kindles were set to brightness level 10 (max. is 24). The second photo was oversaturated +100% using Adobe Lightroom in order to better see the differences.

If you look closely you can see the 5 LEDs on the bottom of all Paperwhites. On the Voyage you almost can't see them, but the LEDs on the bottom seem to be whiter then the ones on top (this is more evident on the oversaturated photo).

My plan is to do a lot more photos with different brightness settings and at least 7 more PWs and one more Voyage. They're currently bricked but I'll try to unbrick them in the course of the next few weeks.
