Some magazines I tried out on my Kindle Keyboard in 2011 showed up in the Newsstand yesterday! :O I had been looking for those forever and ever, and couldn't even find them in my receipts.

I love the layout of the Kindle based magazines BTW. It works well on the small screen.

Do you have access to Zinio magazines from the public library? if so, how well do they work?

I only have paid Zinio magazines. I'll have to check that.

Mine is still showing I can cancel the order, but it is supposed to be here by Thursday. I'm very tempted to go ahead and get one of those clear covers for it, but would still like to leave it coverless if possible. I waited all this time for the citron color, seems a shame to cover it up to any degree, and also concerned any cover will make it more difficult to put into pockets.

Got Themer half working on my HD 6. Lets me setup wallpaper and widgets.

SwiftKey too.

Not sure why they don't let us get download it from the Appstore when it works perfectly fine otherwise...

I was reading a review from an Amazon customer, saying the OverDrive app wouldn't work on the HD 6. Apparently when you try to get it from Amazon appstore, it shows it's incompatible.
Has anyone tried this?

Also, I wanted the unit to download Prime videos onto, since sometimes I'm away from wifi/cell service for weeks. We can download some of the videos, but the time allowed to watch them is limited. Some are limited to only two days. Now I'm disappointed.

I downloaded Overdrive app from 1MobileMarket, and it installs and works fine on my Fire HD 6.

You can download the Overdrive app directly from Overdrive
http://app.overdrive.com/ No need to install another market.

I got the Citron HD 6. It's a yellowish-greenish color. Reminds me of a highlighter.
I love the color.

I'm watching the Apple event, so I'll check it out better, later. Right now, I don't want to drool on it.
