Difficulties Downloading ebooks

Harry- As I stated in my original post, I DID try the right-click and save as.

and IE STILL chose to download the file as a php file, no matter what name I gave it.

The "If You're Having Trouble Downloading Files" / Feedback threads are not easily located by people who are not intimate with ALL the ins & outs of all the sub-boards here, so I had no idea of where to look for help, or how to ask.... SORRY !!

I have never heard of the problem happening except with Internet Explorer, which IMA(rrogant)O (and please forgive the snark):

Alternatively, setting IE in compatibility mode for MobileRead has been reported to work.

You may have to change the type of file in the save dialog, or it will automatically append the file with the currently selected filetype extension. Make sure you are saving it as "all files".

Windows and file extensions... fun!

As I mentioned before in this thread: It does happen with Firefox occasionally. And it really isn't a problem after all...
