“Fired chicken peddler? Oh, you mean ol’ Ample Bosom!” Chesty jumped in the air with excitement causing some coins in his pocket to jiggle.

“Yes, that is the vendor I speak of! His stall is right next to TaTa’s, the grapefruit salesman.”

“Indeed, I shall take you up on that deal, Mr… uh, I do not even know your name sir!”

“Sam. Sam Mammary is the name.”

“Well, Sam Mammary, I will tread carefully, but swiftly, through the beach so as to avoid the perplexing beach jugs, in order to get you that breast from Ample Bosom. I will even get you a large pair of grapefuits from TaTa’s! It is a fair exchange to caste my globes upon a nesting pair of hooters!”

And that is how Pert Chesty completed his monthly avian survey.

amazingly, after that, i *still* have that same pocket pc database tools ad. google must be slipping.

Thanks! Baroness Orczy does have a way with words. I'm currently reading the 14th book in the Scarlet Pimpernel series. I've noticed she likes the word "vituperation" and it shows up in several books.

I was a bit surprised that Donnageddon's efforts didn't come to ... fruition, but then I realized that the ads probably have filters set to foil such "fiendish" foistings.

Iliad at the top of the page and chocolate with flakes of 24 karat gold at the bottom.

I'm surprised that we haven't had a crop of dating agencies, adverts for foreign brides, or offers to arrange introductions to Russian ladies. They appear quite regularly elsewhere on the forum. (What do you guys get up to, in order to generate these adverts? On second thoughts. I don't want to know.)

heeheehee !! i never get the good ads (like, for chocolate with flakes of gold. what on earth is that for ??? do you eat it or wear it ???) i've still got those pocket pc database tools (i'm beginning to wonder if they're actually a permanent part of the forum design).

oh, and despite never getting any ads for chocolate (alas), i nonetheless get the rude ads telling me my stomach is too fat more and more frequently.
