I agree. The tablet apps on Android just aren't as polished as those on ios. Most are just blown up phone apps


Also there are a few I use on my ipad which aren't available on android such as:

Amazon instant video
Battleships (EA games)
Streets of rage
Mr crab
Street fighter
Mortal combat
Trivial pursuit
PADD - star trek app
Star trek books.
National geographic world atlas
The Guardian eyewitness

Also the iTunes store has a lot more content than the play store in terms of TV shows. I can hey whatever I want on my ipad, on Android lots of TV shows simply aren't available.

I guess for game players, there's a big difference. The only "games" I have on my various and sundry tablets are word games, like scrabble and that ilk. I don't play any other type of role-playing, or whatever.

Having the iPads and the Droids, and no dog in either fight, I'd definitely go with Droid every time. No contest.

That's what annoys me, it doesn't have to be a fight. If I want to buy an ipad I don't need anyone telling me I can do the same things with an Android device cheaper. It's my choice to buy an iPad and I shouldn't have to post a handful of times defending myself.

I don't consider by posting my experience I'm actually arguing with anyone, I simply said that I don't like Android for a tablet as, in my experience, it wasn't as good as iOS.

I certainly have told anyone with an Android tablet I think they are wasting their money and Android is a pile of rubbish.

All my iTunes music is already in MP3 format. That's not the issue.

The issue is how can I seamlessly transfer music from my iTunes library to an Android phone, browse what music I currently have on the phone, etc? If you can answer that I'd be most appreciative.

Well, you claimed some thing was not possible to do on Android. And either that claim is correct or not. I do not care what people like and buy but I care about claims that are not true.

Is there a lot of junk? Sure.
Are the programmes that are available on both Android and iOS basically the same/just as "polished"? Indeed, they are.

Sometimes I despair on these forums I really do. I said 'I' couldn't find a way to do it. And after a year of frustration and over £300 wasted on a tablet I gave away I don't intend to try again so I don't need any hints and tips on how it can be done thank you.

Harry, if it is of any help, I use the isyncr app to sync music and podcasts from my Mac Mini and Gone Mad Music Player for playing on my android devices. I have never had an issue.
