Oh, but Changes doesn't end like you think it ends. It really doesn't...

Granted, it will take the next book to get clear what it is about though and even then you don't know everything yet. Changes lives up to his title. Everything, including the game, changes. Harry is hit where it hurts the most, his foundations and everything he holds dear.

And also, "Changes" is one of the most action packed and exciting parts of the Dresden Saga. Even knowing how it ends, I love rereading it.
I think you should give it another shot.
