I just picked up my bicycle from the repair shop. New gear cables, adjusted brakes and by the feel of it they also put some more air into my tires.

I was lucky my father had ripped the gear cable off, it turns out. I wanted to go to the garden centre to stock up on ScentChips one and a half weeks ago. However, this week they are discounted 20%! Friday the weather looks nice so I've planned my trip for that day.

I thought that might be what is was, we have several different things like that here, they are almost always (I think) little round balls of waxy stuff

Well... depends. If you're Jim Bridger or Kit Carson, you might prefer the homey aroma of buffalo chips. Personally, I prefer Pringles.

Watching "What Plants Talk About" on PBS which seeks to answer the question, "Do plants behave like animals?" I'm thinking it would be great if they used the old Zappa tune "Call Any Vegetable" for the theme song.

Support ends on April 8 - so I've been doing a bunch of upgrades for 'mature' friends still clinging to XP. Once they get over the shock of change - most love Win7 now.

I never had Windows 7. Went straight from Vista to Windows 8. I think Win 7 was the only version I'd missed since Windows 3.1.
