Hi all,

I have a PW2 with 5.4.2. I am trying to find a way to set the margins to 0 (zero). I installed the hack by copying the update_fonthack_0.4_pw2_install.bin file and the /Margins/ReaderSDK-impl-en_GB.jar file in the root of my kindle, then updated.

However, I don't see any change for the margins. Am I doing something wrong ?

Do you have interface in English UK?

Somebody know's if it'll be easy to do a hack showing the hour in the status bar and not only in the menu?.

Sorry, but to make "more-more-more" variants for all - very boringly and long.
On page 106 i wrote how to edit jar-files.

Thank you for your answer, elchamaco. Changing the language to English UK, did the trick.

I am still searching for a way to set the margins to 0.

ixtab, question for you, that I don't see answered in the wiki, about "Customize Progress Indicator."

Using a Kindle Touch, fw 5.3.2.1 and patch 4.0.0. I see that it changed the appearance of the bottom info, but I do not see a progress bar, and also it has removed the time left in chapter/time left in book feature, and also, I see no way to customize this area.

I do not see this at all "Simply use the "%" entry that appears next to the "Aa" button."

What am I doing wrong? Do I have to go back to patch 3.2.1 to get the time left feature?

I am so mad. I didn't do the back door lock yet, and the darn thing updated to 5.3.7 so now I have to kubrick it.

ETA Breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. The jailbreak stayed on the device. I had to reinstall the patch bin, and the screen saver bin. It's all working now, even the time remaining is working. (Although the "customize progress indicator" customization still doesn't work, but I can live with that).

Will do backdoor lock soon, just in case.

I'm trying to change margin by changing the jar file that you provided using Java Bytecode Editor. I have two problems
1. what parameters should change and how exactly? for example, this is from jar file:

Am I supposed to change bipush? Also, there is another same code repeated in another part of the jar fie. Just copied the whole text into a texteditor

I updated the sw to version 5.4.2.1 by mistake and lost the benefits of margin ... Unfortunately I have to wait for an updated JB pacth or update fonthack
