No, it is more that my keyboard seems to have been tripping the light fantastic a bit on its own recently. Heck, its 18 years old so I guess its of legal age and can do what it wants. The problem is that it does not always do what I want it to do. I may have to follow Zeldie's lead and get a new keyboard.

It seems a pity though, you should get more than 18 years of service from a keyboard.

Not quite. Its a Northgate Omnikey 102. The current model is called the Avant Stellar. I like it because it has the function keys on the left (where they belong) and great key action. Most of the $10 keyboards are like typing in mashed potatoes. I may opt to have this one rebuilt rather than replaced.
